  • Filter rules compiled to a live query per request.
  • Combine tags, custom fields and other segments.
  • Reused by campaigns, automations and analytics.

FAQ

Contacts, answered

How is this different from a regular CRM?
WBIZ Contacts is a messaging-first module, built around the WhatsApp 24-hour window, E.164 phones, tag operations and a segment builder that powers campaigns and automations. It is not a deal or pipeline CRM. Use the REST API and webhooks to sync to whichever CRM your team runs.
Can I import my existing contact list?
Yes. The CSV import wizard validates each phone number against E.164 with country-code awareness, lets you map columns, and shows a preview before you commit. Source tracking marks the contact as uploaded.
How do segments work?
Segments are written as filter rules and compiled to a live query at request time. Combine tag membership, custom-field comparisons and inclusion in other segments. The same definition is reused by campaigns, automations and analytics.
What if a customer asks for their data to be deleted?
The compliance module exposes data export and deletion endpoints aligned to GDPR and DPDP requests. Bulk opt-in and opt-out are also available for lighter-touch cases.
Are duplicate contacts handled?
Phones are normalised to E.164 on import, which collapses most duplicates that come from formatting differences. There is no automatic merge today, so clean-up is operator-driven through bulk operations.
