Building the WhatsApp suite we wanted to use.
WBIZ.IN started inside a customer-ops team that was drowning in shared phones and spreadsheets. Six years later we power the WhatsApp stack for 1,200+ teams across 42 countries — and we still dogfood every release.
Average reply time from our team is under 4 business hours.
The story
We saw great teams losing customers to shared phones and stale spreadsheets.
In 2021, three of us were running the customer ops for a fast- growing D2C brand. We had brilliant agents and zero tooling — a single phone passed around the office, replies copied from Google Sheets, and a daily fire-drill of missed conversations.
Every WhatsApp tool we tried felt like it was built by someone who had never actually answered a customer. So we built our own. WBIZ.IN is what we wished existed back then — opinionated, fast, and unapologetic about which problems it solves.
Today, 1,200+ teams run their WhatsApp on it. We answer every ticket. We ship every week. We’re still building it like it’s for us.
Our mission
Make every customer conversation feel personal and fast — at any business size, in any timezone, on the official WhatsApp Business Platform.
How we work
Weekly releases. Daily customer calls. A flat team where the people writing code also ride the support pager. Quality is our default, not a stage gate.
Where we work
Headquartered in Bengaluru, India. Distributed team across six cities. Quarterly meetups, async-first by default, and a deeply documented engineering culture.
By the numbers
Small team. Outsized impact.
Numbers from the last twelve months. Updated quarterly so we stay honest.

How we operate
Four values, written in plain English.
We test every roadmap call against these. If a feature fails the check, it doesn’t ship.
Customer obsession
Every feature ships from a real operator request. We talk to ten customers before writing a line of code.
Simple over clever
Messaging workflows are complex enough. We hide the mess and leave a tool that feels obvious to use.
Ship together
Support, product and engineering share the inbox. Every customer voice reaches the people building the platform.
Momentum
Fast, confident decisions and weekly releases. We learn in production rather than guess in a meeting.

WBIZ isn’t spun out of a deck — it’s built by GAP3, the same Bengaluru product studio that has shipped real software since 2019. We dogfood WBIZ every day across our own support, sales and ops teams.
Product studio since 2019
GAP3 has shipped messaging, e-commerce and B2B SaaS products across India and SE Asia for the last six years.
Same team, end-to-end
No outsourced support, no offshore moonlighting. The people who build WBIZ also answer your tickets.
Conversational-first
Every product we own — including WBIZ — starts from a deep conviction that customer conversations beat dashboards.
Milestones
